Big Gigantic brings the Future Funk Heat
Big Gigantic aka Dominic Lalli (Production/Sax) and Jeremy Salken (Drums) from Colorado have absolutely nailed a formula for future-funk sounds. Their sound is not far off from the work that GRiZ does, which overlaps in the styles of jazz and ELECTRO as well as future funk. The original from Swedish singer, "Seinabo Sey," is already quite full bodied but Big Gigantic rose up the challenge in style. The marriage of saxophone, crunchy bass and electric guitar work are a match made in threesome heaven. There's really not much more you could ask for from a track.!This remix should serve as the perfect send off track as you make your way into festival season.Enjoy!

Since hearing my first Illenium song two years ago, Nick Miller (aka Illenium) has been one of my favorite artists. When I look for new tracks, one of the things I like to pay attention to is if an artist is local or not. Lucky for me, Nick is currently a resident of Denver, Colorado; and due to []

Red Rocks may have to turn it down for dance music shows
U2. Skrillex. John Tesh. What do these three artists have in common? They've all killed it at Red Rocks, the beloved amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado (just outside Beatport's hometown of Denver). But only one of these artists' shows have come under fire (guess which one?), and it's because a number of nearby citizens have lodged complaints with the local government over the historic venue's noise issues.

Classically Cannabis The Colorado Symphony Demos A Future Of Pot and Prosperity
It's not just Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa who could benefit from legal marijuana. Adding Willie Nelson to the list still doesn't do the topic justice. In fact, those acts are going to be at least mildly jealous when they hear about Classically Cannabis: The High Note Series. The Colorado Symphony's "Bring Your Own Cannabis" shows are yet another example of what haters of freedom have been denying us: pot and prosperity. Want to save the music industry? Legalize marijuana! While the B-Classic festival in Belgium is busy "shaking that ass," The Colorado Symphony is demonstrating quite a bit of...
